Mom's knitting cupcakes
My mom is an amazing knitter and has her own business http://www.cutiepiehats.com/ where she sells the cutest homemade knit hats of animals, characters, and flowers. To honor her love of knitting I used my love of baking to make her these spools of yarn cupcakes.
Chinese food for cupcakes?
That's what I thought but my niece also saw these in a book so besides the microphones we made Chinese food take-out...her favorite food. We did chow mein and fried rice. Each girl got to eat their microphone cupcake and take the Chinese food home in a Chinese food take-out box. While I like Chinese food, these may be tastier!
Father's Day "hamburger's and fries"
A friend saw these online and wanted to do them but thought they were too much to handle so I jumped in and told her I thought we could do it no problem. Well, three hours and seven kids trying to help later we had these creations. The dad's liked them. The "hamburgers" were brownie patties with yellow cake buns and frosting condiments. The "fries" were sugar cookie strips.

Daughter's birthday cake
This is my daughters 6th birthday cake. She really picked out all the design. She knew exactly what she wanted. Too many episodes of cake boss I guess! She wanted it to look like a present with flowers on it. It was a strawberry cake with a strawberry frosting covered in fondant with a fondant ribbon and mini fondant flowers.
Welcome to my blog!
Welcome to my blog. I've created this site to show off the cupcakes that I have started making. I hope you enjoy looking as much as I've enjoyed making them.
